I am a senior citizen and I mean senior. At 73 years old my eye sight, even with glasses, is not what it once was. I am an upland game bird hunter and have for the past five years used the HI VIZ green and orange strip ventilated rib sights on my 20 gauge Benelli automatic shotgun.
Bryce Mann gave me a set of the 2-in-1 magnetic sights to try out during a recent hunting trip to Montana. It was love at first sight. The sight set comes with one round and one triangular sight in the package and both are two inches long with one half orange and the other half green. To switch colors just turn the sight around.
All I had to do was sit the sight on the barrel rib and the magnet held it in place. I estimate I shot the gun 70 to 80 times during the trip and the sight never moved from its original placement.
On the day we arrived in Montana I started the hunt shooting clays. I tested the triangular sight with the green exposed first and after shooting 20 clays switched to red exposed. In the direct sun light I prefer the green color. I must admit the triangular shape was awkward for me and I really do not know why.
When I installed the round sight with the green exposed that was it for me. I was able to see the target, always knew where the barrel was aiming and I was able to get my fair share of Shorts and Huns.
I highly recommend the HI VIZ product line of shot gun sights to anybody that has an interest in shooting more accurately. But, for the rest of you seniors that have problems picking out the target then I sincerely hope you give the HI VIZ 2-in-1 model T0200 a try because I believe you will, like me, experience love at first sight.

HI VIZ Model T0200 Magnetic Shotgun Sight Review
Energizer 360° Cap Light
I don’t know anybody who can’t use a good flashlight. These days lights that are sewn into or attached to ball caps are very popular and have many uses in the field. The advantage of this type of light is that both hands are kept free allowing you to work unencumbered.
This new model has a twist – literally. It not only attaches to the bill of your hat but you can attach it to the interior of a ground hunting blind, your tree stand, web gear, pack straps, your shirt pocket – almost anywhere you could think of where you might need very bright light directed. The white light has a two position switch for high and low intensity. There is a second switch marked in red on the control panel that activates a red beam which is useful for walking in and out of your hunting area without alarming game. It also is useful for reading maps or checking your GPS as well.
The back cap is the battery door and has a locking position which locks the battery compartment solidly. It seals out the elements while securing the battery so there is no rattle to be heard. This little led lamp runs on one AA battery and while we used the Energizer 360 almost daily in our extensive field test it has not required a replacement battery in almost 4 months of service.
The olive drab green and black outer case blends right in with most camouflage patterns. There is a tension adjustment at the bottom of the main casing to keep the swivel ball in place where the light is to be directed. The spring on the cap mount seems to be a little too strong when attaching the 360 light to the bill of a cap but when attaching to web gear or the interior of a blind it seems to be just right.
Running a guide and outfitter service we have used lots of different types of flashlights but the Energizer 360 Cap Light has quickly become one of our favorites. I would definitely recommend the Energizer 360 Cap Light to any serious hunter, fisherman, backpacker or camper. I would like to offer a big thank you to the Energizer Corp. for consistently providing innovative products for the outdoors.
Bryce
